Before coming to CSCI, I was a teacher in New York for several years. While I enjoyed working in the classroom, I found myself drawn to the business aspects of academia. I am currently doing grant administration at CSCI and completing the fiscal management curriculum at UCSD. My main role is to provide comprehensive financial management of the research project funds as well as coordinate contract and grant proposal projects.
Projects
In addition to managing the day-to-day administrative and financial activities, I am currently researching opportunities for future funding from both private and public organizations. My position has afforded me a different and broader perspective of operational management and fund administration. I have gained invaluable knowledge regarding UC policies and procedures through the fiscal support and accounting curriculum at UCSD.
